Marlene Ricci was born in Buffalo, New York where she made her singing debut at a wedding at age five. By sixteen, she was being driven to perform at nightclubs in the Buffalo area by her father. A few years later, she made her way to Las Vegas, where Frank Sinatra saw her “belting it out” in the Aladdin lounge. He immediately picked up the phone and called his iconic arranger Don Costa who flew in the next day to convert Ms. Ricci’s pop songs into 32-piece orchestrations. Soon, Frank put Marlene on the bill, and she became his opening act, touring with him nationally for two and a half years.
During that tour, Marlene was picked as the Cinderella girl and featured in the CBS TV Special "Cinderella at the Palace" ending the show with her own version of the pop song “With One More Look at You” from “A Star Is Born”. Marlene went on to perform with many of the world's greatest entertainers, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Paul Anka, Flip Wilson, Wayne Newton, Don Rickles, Lee Greenwood, even the Village People and many others. A Top 20 pop hit in Europe "Tonight" produced by Jack White, known for his hits with Laura Branigan created concert performances worldwide and numerous TV appearances in Europe and on Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas and The Tonight Show. Breaking all records during a run at The Top O’ the Dunes, she returned to the Strip as guest star in "The Great Radio City Spectacular" featuring the Rockettes at the Flamingo Hotel. Following that, a long-time engagement for her own show at the Riviera Hotel in the Le Bistro Theater.
Today, Marlene continues to “Wow” audiences with her amazing voice. Recently, while performing with the JOI Jazz Orchestra to a packed house, she received standing ovations throughout her performance.
